Why does my device say it’s locked?

If you’ve bought your phone from a mobile provider with a built-in contract, the provider will prevent you from using a mobile plan from another provider. Your phone will be considered “locked”; in this case, you won’t be able to install and use an eSIM. You can wait until your contract expires. Or contact your mobile operator to cancel your current contract and unlock your phone.
