ZIM: How it all started
ZIM was founded by serial travellers Giulia Acchioni and Irina Gheorghiu. During many adventures together, they repeatedly faced the problem of getting internet connection abroad.
In 2019, after their visit to the Philippines, they decided to join forces and find a solution.
One year later, they founded ZIM Connections in London, rapidly transforming into a leading eSIM technology hub.

Nick comes from a multidisciplinary background and first ventured into ZIM in 2021 as a marketing associate before being appointed chief product officer. He sees himself as a hard-wired creative who can lean into the more empirical side of life and look at it with enthusiasm and boundless curiosity. His holistic approach and philosophy helped shape ZIM and continuously influence what’s next.
